We have coursework to do for the Japanese lesson...we have to write a letter to a pen friend in Japan (going to ask my work mate yoshi-san (cute name ne?) to check it today! lol, the other day one of the students said she was jealous of my kana handwriting ^_^;; I should scan it to show you!
I've been so busy these 2 weeks, first I went to a friends house for a dinner party, stayed till late ^x% but the food was GORGEOUS, Taiwanese dishes delish! Then on Thursday went to the gym with my sister -haven't been in a few weeks and was exhausted- after that we went to the Japanese restaurant ICHIBAN! we had a lunch set meal and I had the Ramen while my sister had Salmon Teriyaki which she thought was the best thing she's eaten lol!
What else...oh yeah my friend told me about the Japanese and Korean food shop and look what I bought >>>
The jar that looks like jam is actually tea, you add a spoon to hot water and I am addicted to it, love the taste...must remember to get Natto later today from the same shop, most my japanese friends hate natto but I love it heehe.

Other news: I was late for work the other day, my car broke down, I've never been late and it turns out the other girl I was working with was late to so the manager was very angry...well only slightly ~♥

(I'm speaking more Japanese than Cantonese at home and family hate it! But they gotta understand it's good practice ._.;)
First up HAPPY 22nd BIRTHDAY KAME!!!! I did forget until I was at ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) leeslittlealien journal I'm such a bad fan girl!
A few hours till work, darn it why'd I have to work Saturdays it sucks big time and today there's a big rugby match where I live: Wales vs Ireland. I've never been a big rugby fan but the welsh people love it and you see hundreds of people in the city center and the big scary irish are all over town drinking their guinness -eeps hides- though I love the irish accent, in fact I wish I had an accent! Some people say I have a Cardiff accent but no, I don't think so xD
Also, I've started wearing these daily disposable contacts about a month ago so I've got to get them before work in Tesco but I'm scared of my opticians he's this weird middle aged guy who acts like a 12 year old and speaks all giddy, I'm not joking!

Which Disneyland is better: America, France, Japan or HK? anyone been to all of them, cos thad'd be way cool!

Did I tell you I was learning Japanese?! Well, I'm taking a course at a university called Japanese for beginners 1 and it is so fun and I'm learning a lot because I tried learning at home before and it just didn't work, things weren't going to my head but now I know the katakana and hirigana tables off the back off my hand. My friend gave me this book to learn them real easy! Plus, the teacher we have is slightly insane and weirdly enthusiastic, she's called Noriko and we all love her LOL!
Why I'm learning Japanese is not because of my ex who was Japanese (not Kame or Jin looking but reasonable) we broke up like a week before Valentines day..the reason? well at a party my friend Tim (he's so crazy talks so fast) says that I'm too nice and smiley to people (is that a crime?!) and they'll take advantage of me and it's ok to be a bitch sometimes and it got me thinking that maybe my bf was not good for me and well I talked to him and it ended. My friend was so sad she thought like we were gonna get married or something cos she says "Yvonne, what are you gonna do when Ken goes back to Japan (cos he's an exchange student from some university in Tokyo) maybe you can go and live there" yeah right!!!
Anyway, speaking of Japan, I got mistaken as Japanese again ;_;...do I really look Japanese...should I feel insulted being chinese or take it as a compliment? When I was paying for petrol at the station the cashier says to me "Are you from Japan?" I goes no, from Scotland actually and he goes "Scotland, that's a nice city" ok, I thought and handed him the money.
Oh right and sticking to the theme, I still work part time at the Sushi restaurant and because one of the girls is leaving at the end of March I've been promoted to *drum roll* SUSHI CHEF/ASSISTANT so I'll be learning to make Nigiri's woo so far we minors only make the Hosomaki and Chumaki but when the manager told me he was all "This is a good opportunity and to learn something new it will be good for future reference and the company have chosen YOU" eek I was shitting myself!
Sometimes I really do feel Japanese~
