So we got home from USA and then drove out to Belgium to do a whirlwind show, get in, play and get out so that we could make it back to Sheffield for the next day. We had a great time there, the weather was beautiful and the amount of people who came to see us blew us away. If you saw us thank you very, very much for coming early to catch us, we had a ball.
Both GIAN dates were amazing and we got to not only meet but hang out with some amazing people. Sheffield was a blast but London Earls court was something else. Easily one of the best shows we've played. Ever.
To see so many people watching us, singing along and generally rocking out with us. To hear so many people singing back got to us all and was truly one of those, hallmark moments. We are so sorry that a bunch of you guys got cut off at the signing. We were only alloted 30 mins but we came down early when we were told there were so many people there and ended up staying for just over an hour, but we still had to leave for the next signings to start.
If it was your first time seeing us then if you come to our regular shows we always come out after to see you all, so if you missed out make sure you come to another show and see how ugly we are when you see us close up.
Thanks again to everyone who watched us over the last weekend, hung out with us, gave us the time of day. You made it fantastical.

Hey Everyone
Just thought I'd let you know what we're up to!
We'll today our visa's finally came through! We applied for these ages and ages ago, and due to problem after problem we ended up missing South By South West, our LA show but finally we get to fly to the US, so Sunday we leave and Monday start a new chapter of The Blackout's history! We're all so excited for this trip, I think most bands of touring the World and I'm feeling pretty lucky at the moment that the USA is another country we can add to out list that we've visited.
After the States we come straight back to do Groezrock and Give It A Name.
it's pretty nuts we've gone from opening the little stage two years ago to this year being the highest billed British band on both days! Give it two years and i won't be happy unless we're headlining!
After GIAN we have a week off and then we head out on the SOTY tour. We've played most of these places before as headline shows so i wanna see the filled with faces we know and make them feel like headline shows instead. We're excited to do this tour just to get out of our homes for a week and play a few shows.
While we are at home we're busy writing a new record. We got loads of ideas so far and looking forward to getting them all finished and onto record.
the album will be out early next year I'd imagine, on a new new label too!
Keep an eye out for more festivals to be announced, around Europe and UK.
No download but we got some others lined up!
Matt xAnd while I'm already at it, the TBO fansite has moved so be sure to change all your links to the new URL.

If you had a look at this weeks Kerrang! already, you've probably seen the MSI ad already. I've only got the chance to take a quick glance at it so I don't know the exact details. So far, the guys are supporting MSI when they come back to the UK (and hopefully the rest of Europe) in July.
If you have that Kerrang! issue, I would love it if you could scan it. I'd like to, you know, add the scan so everyone can see the full details.
