Maybe my problem in life is that I'm just too introspective, and that I want to get to the bottom of every emotion and understand where it's coming from and why I'm feeling that way. Maybe if I just accepted it and dealt with it accordingly and try to proactive so I'm no longer feeling that way. Or whatever...

I'm currently reached apathetic mode with my friends. Can I have a new set right now, please? Just means I'm going to try and hang out with people I don't hang out with as much, which is a good thing.

I love how it's only the second day of school and a drama bomb just exploded into my life. But before I get into that my most memorable part of the day is where I found in anthro class that I'll be watching a movie that the professor rates somwhere between an R and am X. Haha! Love it!

Finished decorating my room, so I'll put up pics because I'm so excited!

Ok, now the drama bomb. (I think I've used these names before, so it's like whatever to try hiding the names.) Jaclyn was like I need to talk to you, and I'm all ok. She's all nervous so I'm trying to make jokes about what she's telling me is that she's getting a sex change operation, obviously... Trying to lighten up the mood, distract her for a little bit. She starts it, and is going to take forever so then I end up guessing it out of her in like 3-4 guesses. She and Jake had a thing (Jake likes her, they shared a kiss), and apparently it was over the summer. Jaclyn told Erin about it, and they had a big fallout, at the time. I didn't know what it over about at the time, but I did know about the fallout. (Erin, we think, likes Jake but won't admit it.)

I found out the details from Courtney that Jaclyn just wasn't that into him, but she's trying to play it off and still be nice but Jake is wanting more of a relationship type thing. Which isn't working (duh!) and I was just brought in on this tonight, so I'm totally the last one to know, which isn't that unusual and a minor point. And Jaclyn had to have a convo with Stuart, which was kinda anticlimatic, which was like she needs to tell him straight out. After all of this I get a text from Stuart saying we should hang out since apparently we haven't hung out in a while (?), which I don't know if this means he's going to tell me about it all, doesn't think I know and won't tell me about it, or knows that I know and wants just someone not really involved with it or wants my witty/cynical/sarcastic remarks about it.

And on top of that, I think Zack, aka Z, still likes Courtney, because I read it alll over his body language, but I just need to see if that's how he acts will all really close friends that just happen to be girls.

I figured the subject line was appropriate. Oh life!

Moved in, and I even have some of my wall decorated, woo! I need to put some holes in the wall so I can hang up some more picture frames. Also want to take advantage of the Flickr and being able to use that to print out pics. There is some gorgeous stuff on there!

First day of class today/tomorrow! Crazy... We have new jerseys which is also really exciting, so I'm hoping to make a big splash! Ok, I need to go to bed since I have no supplies for tomorrow. I don't even have a notebook to write on, I was bad and didn't go shopping...

p.s. Camping was alright. My freshman/first year/incoming student group bonded with each other which was nice. I think they liked my co-leader more, but whatever. Also, found out as we were driving to lunch the day I got back, the 23rd, that Biden is officially the VP! Talk about me being excited. Very cool news (for me at least) :)

Wooie! I've been having a busy couple of days. Trying to get the room settled, which is on the failing side. I'm unlofting my bed, because I'm seriously going to hurt myself with it. So meh...

Saw Tropic Thunder which is a dirty, somewhat funny movie. It wasn't spectacular but I was amused and Robert Downey Jr. was just awesome in it. The best part was the fake previews/commercial at the beginning.

Also saw A Clockwork Orange which was crazy. I knew it was going to be wild, but woah! I'm definitely glad I watched it with guys. My girl friends would not have been a fan of all the nudity. Holy crap there was a lot of nudity! A lot of violence too, but a lot of naked ladies. The sped up sex scene was great though. It's funny, but then it must have took forever to film!

Played Monopoly tonight and lost horribly. I was the first to go out, and it just wasn't happening for me. Did not have the luck, oh well! Also played Twister which was a lot of fun too! Haven't played in ages, good times!

Finished reading my book for this incoming student camp I'm doing. The Devil's Highway, which I'm excited to be finished with, but it was heavy. Not so crazy about the serious books.

I'm slightly excited to hear Biden's name being tossed around as a possible VP. I haven't looked at everything, and I'm not really that into politics (but I'm trying to get there!), but what I've seen, I've liked. He was born (or something) in Scranton, PA which just seemed like fate. True I haven't officially decided between the two, and I'm waiting to see the VPs, but I'm definitely leaning towards one side (and I'm sure you can guess which one).

Have to go move freshman in tomorrow, woo...

Moved into my new room. Still trying to get it all set up and trying to figure out where the heck to hang things, but I think it's pretty cute. It's amazing how I can still get homesick, even if I don't want to be at home (oh my allergies + the cats = bad sneezy times!). My roommate most likely moves in Thursday (when I won't be here), so hopefully she likes how the room is set up too. Mom was such a big help with moving, but I feel like I sitll forgot stuff, and I don't have any clothes. I'm heading over to IKEA tomorrow and picking up some cheap items. Cheaper than Target, at least.

I'm tired, and realing with emotions (or just 3) and I think I'm going to bed. :)

Been trying to finish the 3rd season of BtVS. It's coming along, slowly. I dislike Faith, love Oz, and want more Spike. That pretty much sums up my feelings for it.

Saw The Jane Austen Book Club which I wasn't really a fan of, but they did have two really hot guys, which almost make it worth it. Also if you haven't read the books and don't really know any of the plot, you're kinda screwed.

The trip stirred up some feelings I'd much rather not have stirred up (remember that whole ex-crush who just happens to be one of my good friends deal, yea...:\ ). But I did see some fucking awesome fish. Aquariums are just amazing. That's what I'm sticking with for right now.

Staying with your excrush for the weekend at his house can be potentially awkward at times, thankfully other friends are here. Still... The aquarium was v. cool

Heading over to Atlanta today to go hang out with some of the friends and then, sunday I leave to go back home. Woo!

There is a network called G4, and it's gamerish and other random shit kind of stuff, and there is this show called Attack of the Show! and I totally have a crush/girl!crush on the hosts (Kevin Pereira and Olivia Munn). Which I think counts for the first time where I've thought both of the hosts are hot. They're hot (like I said already), funny, dorky, perverted, arrogant/cockyish, and I think they're just really hot. Plus, Olivia has some really great freaking outfits.

Saw X-Files tonight. It made me think of the fanfics where Mulder and Scully were trapped in a small/tight location for a while and somehow that boiled down to sex. With this cliche all over fandoms, I'm starting to think this tactic works, kinda...

The trapped in a situation thing use to have an acronym, but I can't remember what it is. Is it SRA? What does SRA mean? I've been trying to google it but failing-ish.

Still my inner shipper was working all through that movie, besides nothing how great Gillian's hair looked and David D/Fox is hot.

I so wish I was at Comic con, but I also wished I could've gone to Portus too. One day I'd like to cosplay. :-) Have a group of friends in with, ya know...ha

Watching Torchwood but of course I have 2 episodes that have problems so I have to read the wiki summaries, because it will take me forever to get them! Martha Jones is soooo much better on here! I actually like her here, which I thought was surprising. Ianto is kick ass, still! And I love Toshiko, just for some reason. I'm still Owen/Tosh, even if he is a douche, but I think he's starting to be a nicer douche. Yay less Gwen episodes, hopefully. *fingers crossed*

Trying to get close to the finale of Doctor Who since it is suppose to be so freaking awesome. Can't wait! :)

I love that I'm finally getting into Doctor Who again right as the season finale is about to be shown. I looked it up, and it's showing tonight, yes! :D Finally watch Voyage of the Damned too. It was cute. *shrug*

I'm really excited about High School Musical 3. Ryan is just plain awesome and I want a doll of him. I feel extremely lame admitting that, but it's true...

Finished Emma! I loved it and found it a delightful read. I do love Mr. Knightley! I may like him more than Mr. Darcy, who knows?

Finally got on Men of Austen after some diligent Google searching. :)

Also read Much Ado About You, which was alright but was not Julia Quinn. Besides the title sounding like one of my favorite plays the main male character's name is Lucius Felton (I couldn't resist!).

I'm pretty excited about this class I'm taking in the fall. It's called Class and Gender in Ancient Society. But dang! ( This is the longest book list I have had for a class. )

Saw Wanted and that was alright. A little too many people being shot in the head, but James McAvoy totally made up for it. Even if he was getting the living shit beat out of him. Jolie is pretty hot too. And a whole lotta action and cool!shit.

I hate the fact that it takes forever to download something, which makes sense since I don't have the full power of the internet at my disposal, but it's not fun.

I really like The Middleman! It's a cute little show on ABC Family (which is going to suck in the future when I don't have ABC Fam) but it's comic booky and jokey and I enjoy it a lot.

Saw Get Smart and it made me laugh. True I wasn't a fan of the Steve/Anne romance in the movie but it was cute.

Over at my g-ma's place now. The loss of regular, constant internet is really sad and hit me pretty hard, but I'll survive with my occasional connections and the Gutenburg project and it's small downloads.

I'm on vol. 10 of xxxHolic, but that's sad since that is my last volume. I can't wait to have constant internet again. *shrug*

I need to get a downloading manager because that thing is useful!

I ended up getting a formal dress down here for $21! It's so pretty and got it discount-y store!
