Ezra's first birthday went off without a hitch. Well, minus the onset of a horrible cupcake phobia and a run-in with a mohawk weilding uncle. Overall, the party was a blast and friends and family from near and far came to celebrate with us. We are all pooped, but are excited to see how the next year turns out for all of us. Enjoy and know your blessings...EVERYDAY...they grow up in a blink of an eye :) Thank you to all who were so generous with their time and gifts..we appreciate all of you!

how time flies! My little boy is closing in on his 1 year birthday. He makes me smile & want to cry EVERYDAY. I am very blessed to be able to share this time with him, as he is growing up way too fast. He is still quite the "momma's boy", but I figure that he'll want nothing to do with me sooner or later, so I'll eat it up right now. He is a speedy crawler and cruiser with walking/running pretty soon to follow. He laughs quite a bit, has quite the temper when he is asked not to do something and LOVES books/swinging @ the park and watching other kids. We love him so very much & I cannot wait to see how great of a toddler>little boy>young man & adult he becomes. HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY EZRA-BUG!

Yep! 6 teeth and counting :) I would be so very excited if Ezra was not so darn irritable and fussy. Poor guy! He'd be so much better if he'd never get teeth. Imagine.....a tooth pushing through your gum line....blech! The whole toothless thing sounds great to me...as I was sitting anxiously in the dentist's chair this morning as he's telling me I need a root canal :(

Ezra is well. He will be 8 months this friday. Still not crawling and has 4 teeth...dear gosh! But we are all very healthy and happy. Love & hugs to all!

...how time flies! Ezra is now 7 1/2 months and getting to be quite the handfull. I never thought I'd miss the days of 45 min. feeding sessions. Only because now he's super efficient and eating in less than 10 minutes....no resting little boys around here! He is soo much fun though. I can't wait until he starts to really crawl about & find places for me to spot vac all day long! hehe! I am finding that we are super blessed with such a happy, well adjusted baby. He sleeps through the night (~10hrs.) and has 2 two hour naps a day! I just heard that a lady has to hold her 7 month old son while he naps and sleeps at night. EEEK! Counting our blessings as we speak! Oh Yeah! And thanks to the Baby Whisperer!

Screaming....teething.....just had his flu shot BABY! But he's still darn cute! :(

daylight savings time...Arizona, here I come! This small amount of time "gained" used to be something I looked forward to...a delusional extra hour of sleep. But! A 7 month old baby boy does NOT know that this small change in time has encouraged him to wake @ 5am and go to bed @ 630pm. It's going to be a LONG week. Pray for me :)

I ever complain about Ezra NOT taking naps during the day when he sleeps 12 hours at night! I'm up @ 6am waiting for him to awake. Pretty sad :) Count my blessings, right? Hope everyone is well.

Yep! Ezra is cutting a tooth :) Very exciting and very scary considering I'm still breastfeeding! No biting yet...cross my fingers :) We are all doing well. Josh is as busy as ever but managing to balance life. I am pretty busy myself....Ezra takes up a lot of time but I manage to take time for myself too. I almost have mastered the wife/mom/me! identity. Hope everyone is doing well. Let us know how YOU are :)

Yep...Ezra is now 11 weeks old and may be teething! And I thought breast feeding was already tough :) Anyhow..... he now weighs in at about 13 1/2 pounds and is looking and acting like UA everyday. He is smiling, laughing, and screaming like never before. All still very exciting and fun. There are days...like today... when I want to send him to work with Josh, but then he rears his sweet face and smiles and coos. Can't get enough. I have sent out a lot of pics lately, so if you have not received them...holler at me! Oh yeah! The NMT alumni parent team is now to include the newly growing McLin clan :0) Congrats Mama & Papa McLin. Take care of yourselves and eat chocolate cake for me too!

Ezra is 4 weeks old today! Today was actually his due date...I NEVER thought I would have made it to this day anyhow. He got here right on time. I surely would not want to go through the C-section recovery again...OR the first days of nursing...dear gosh! I hope everyone gets the chance to see pictures of Ezra & when all the stars align everyone can meet him :)

Ezra is here! Happy & healthy and full of energy. He was actually 4 weeks early, but at 6lbs, 13oz...who blames him for being early :) I will post pics soon. We are also moving this weekend to our new home in ABQ. We'll keep you updated.

Ok, yeah...I'm on "bed rest" all weekend long. I guess my edema (swelling) in my ankles and fingers have given me away :) I plan on laying down all day and trying to not think about my dire need to pack, grade, and go to the store. What's a girl to do? Either way, this kiddo is coming, and unfortunately the size of him has brought me down...only literally. Hope all is well with the non edemic folks out and about today :) Take care!

Hey folks! Well, I went to the Dr. for my "normal" bi weekly check up and found out the following: I am measuring at 38-39 cm, when I SHOULD be measuring at 34 cm, no one could figure out if he was breech (is it his butt OR his head...come on!), thus the 2nd ultrasound, I am gaining far too much weight, too quickly (i walk, do yoga, etc...and bypass the doughnuts), they think the weight may be fluid retention (you think ?). Anyway, during our ultrasound I gasped when the ultrasound tech said our "little" Ezra weighs about 6 1/2 pounds! Ok, I weighed 6lbs at birth...full term! I have 6 weeks to go! How large can this cheeky little monkey get? Oh yeah! He is still breech...with his feet in his little hands and toes poking him in the eye. We received some AMAZING pictures that depict just this, that I will try to post. He is oober cute and very chubby :) Needless to say, I MAY have to deliver this kiddo earlier than expected. Keep us in your thoughts.

Well, what can I say? I am still surviving this lovely bout of pregnancy. I have so enjoyed the entire experience that I have forgotten that I will not STAY pregnant. I have been thinking more so about the arrival of our little man..and I'm am shaken with anxiety and excitement all at once. I have been so content with my self-contained little life form that I've forgotten about the arrival all together. What do you do with a new born once you get him home? I have so many different ideas racing through my noggin, but overall I am overwhelmed with excitement.
I will try to post pics soon. I am measuring about 2 1/2 cm greater than my # of weeks, so I'm rather large! Whomever thinks I cannot get any bigger...I've been told to brace myself :) Oh yeah, and I've gained 40 lbs.....eeek!
As for other news, Josh & I have bought a new home in ABQ! We opted to buy now, even though our townhome downtown has yet to sell. We found our new abode just 5 homes away from Sandia HS, just off of Candalaria on Rhode Island. We are closing on April 13th. Did I mention that my last day at school is April 7th? Crazy, wild, and busy couple of months coming up.

Super Good Morning to all! Yep! I am once again wallowing in self pity b/c I can no longer sleep throughout the night. I have read EVERYTHING you can imagine about rectifying this situation & all advice (including from my saint of a mom) say that I am screwed. At least until Ezra learns to sleep through the night. Oh yeah! He's not even here yet! I have gracefully and sleepily made my way into my third trimester (30 weeks)...Ezra will be here in 10 more weeks. Very exciting! Although, especially for Josh, this is a busy time. He and my dad are remodeling our house in ABQ to sell (turned out to be longer than a weekend project!), and we are trying our best to buy and move into a new house before Ezra arrives. Of course, Superman (AKA Josh) is also trying to juggle the fruits of his labor...INICOM. They have a new office in downtown ABQ and business is as busy as ever. Over all I have little to complain about...although the insomnia will likely create a madwoman out of me...b/c I am healthy, and so is Ezra & Josh.

Who needs sleep?
