My hubby is now away for 2 months in Maine helping out for Blueberry season. Good for fiances, cause now he will be bringing in bucks, but sad for me, because I miss him.

At least I do have a house guest, and a very cute loving kitty.

This is just a general post. Nothing really new going on, but I got a new nifty theme, isn't it awesome?

I'm gonna be all alone for a few months Russ is going to Maine to work with his family with Blueberry season.

Peoples here need to keep me out of trouble and boredom.

I just wanted to say.....everyone who likes Musicals should see the movie "Across the Universe" . All I can see is this movie is like....The Beatles meets Moulin Rogue. Also, I definately want to see this movie trashed.

Well, its good though. After five years I got a promotion at work. I am going to be an Advanced Resolution and Support Rep. In plan english it means I will do tech support for Cable, Phone and Internet! ::Squeek::

It should be a LOT more bucks! I am currently a Level 2 rep, and moving to now Level 4.

My shift will be from Mon,Tue,Wed, Sat from 7:30-6 pm.


Yay for me!

I gots a new kitty! Her name is Guenviere, shes a Tortie, probably about a year or 2 old. She is a freaky cat. She runs all around the house, real real fast. Pretty much my first exposure to a kitten. Real cute though. Her and Salem are arguring a bit. She does some weird things at least I think. She climbs up on me (I know not weird) and gets real close to my face, nose to nose.

I will take pictures and post them soon.

Otherwise, things are ok. Getting ready for Lunacon. Married life, about the same as living together life, except saying husband all the time is kinda weird.

What made "Firefly" work? Why do we love it and why didn't the suits
get it? What now? Should new episodes go direct-to-DVD? How does
"Serenity" fit? Is Joss Whedon too good for network TV or has he let past

Well, I had a pretty good day....I met the wonderful Joss Whedon, who is a sweetheart, then my day was kinda ruined by clicky people in a fan group, I now used to be a part of.

But heres my proud moment!

Well, I changed my mind on both color and dress for the wedding. I want to wear burgandy, with off white. Also, my bridemaids are just going to wear pretty dresses....since people have been having problems financially buying the dress, since it is right around the corner after yule and christmas.

Here is the pic of my dress....these colors are wrong, but opinions?

I just found out that there is going to be a rally in Cambridge for the Writer's Strike....and Joss Whedon is going to be there!!!! I am sooo excited. I'm sure I like won't get near him, but it's nice to breathe the same air and hear him talk. And its at the same place I saw Bruce Campbell! If anyone is interested its going to be in the Meeting House of the historic First Parish (Unitarian Universalist) Church, 3 Church St., Cambridge, MA 02138. Which is right in Harvard Square. It's on Friday, December 14th, from 12-3.

Other people there include guest speakers Rob Kutner with a few of his Daily Show crew and the creater of Sci Fi Channel's Eureka, Jaime Paglia will say a few words of thanks to the fans and talk about the cause they're supporting.

I saw Pirates 3 this weekend, and it just rocked! Not enough Captain Jack for me, but what part he did have was just amazing. Even Will Turner is now likeable....wowie! Had a pretty good weekend, did the Duck tour for the first time, and got a nice magazine on Ren Weddings, and I think it will be helpful for us. Now I just gotta contact the con (Arisia) or the hotel to find out how we are going to pull this off.
