Learning to love through their grief type thing. But, I'd like to see it have a happy ending after Buffy returns. I don't want to see them pushing each other away just because she's back.

I've finished editing parts 1-5. It's still got some niggly bits but at least I've gotten rid of some inconsistencies and my blatant comma abuse. Working on the rest now.

I am an abuser of commas. I always suspected this, but I never knew the extent of my comma abuse until now. In fact, I'm abusing them right now, in this very sentence. Commas everywhere! Note to self: START NEW SENTENCES! USE FULL STOPS!
PS My procrastination knows no bounds. I am now editing Teascapes from the very beginning. It's not nearly as much of an overhaul as I'd like to do, but at least it's a start. Talk about stunted dialogue and bad characterisation. I think I should have probably watched more of the S4 episodes before I wrote this.

Hi guys,
I know I've been dead to the world for ages and ages, but sure enough as soon as exams roll around inspiration hits. This is the epilogue to Teascapes, which is finally complete, though probably now reader-less. I'll be going through the whole story and editing it in the near future (I hope). Anyone interested at all in hosting and/or archiving it somewhere that isn't lj?
It feels wonderful to have this done. Definitely a weight off my shoulders. And now I feel free to explore some shorter fics. I felt too guilty before - I'm one of those have-to-get-it-finished-before-I-start-something-new kinda gals.

I'm half way through the next part of Teascapes, and I'm getting a little blocked. I didn't anticipate it would go on this long, so I'm not quite sure where to go from here. I feel like I want to move on to something different, write something new. But I don't want to leave this unfinished, and I just know that if I start something else then I will end up leaving it for a long time. It's quite the predicament.

Alliteration is my friend.
I'm at work again, exchanging emails with boy-who-I-love-but-who-is-sending-me-mixed-messages. I think I'm offended. I just got told that he likes my mothering. It's not like I've been chasing him around with spoons of medicine and telling him to wear a jumper and drink lots of fluids. Okay, so maybe I did tell him ONCE to drink lots of fluids, but he was looking like he was about to pass out because of too much alchomahol and exhaustion and a fever. And then I made him take ibuprofen. But that does not a mother make. Right?
*whispers why won't he love me then sneaks away*
Umm apart from that, I've been working on Teascapes. I've lost my direction. It just doesn't want to end. I have to go off and do a good mini plan for what I want to happen in the next few parts, because I definitely want it to end at part 45 if not before that. I do plan on having a sequel, but I've been bunnied like crazy and want to get into my other WIPs before I take it up again.
Also I'm at work. The dog keeps farting and blaming it on me. She gives me this look and then glances round the room at the patients, then gives me the look again. Everyone thinks I'm stinky.

I've finally broken and ventured into Harry Potter slash. I know I know, I said I never would. And I probably wouldn't have, but this was the tenth time I'd read all the way through to book 5, and I was getting impatient. It's really strange though. Some of my very very VERY favourite BtVS fanfic authors are in the HP fandom, and I thought there's no better place to start. I read one brilliant H/D fic but after that I just couldn't seem to get into it. The writing is so different, so strange, so not like J. K. Rowling that I can't read it without cringing. And these are the authors that I read and re-read and re-re-read continuously in the Buffy fandom.
Am I reading the wrong fics, or am I too in tune with the actual books to ever like Harry fanfic? *sigh* Anyone with any recs??

Sorry about the really really long wait. Thank you to everyone that's told me to go on. I'm already working on the next part.
Also, I have no idea which number part this is. Something got messed up when I was editing everything. Technically it should be part 39, but I've shifted things around and now I have no idea.
eta: I edited some of the chapters to expand them or combine them, so the new numbering has come into play. Ignore the numbering of my part-by-part posts.
