Today my housemate and this other girl and I went to some Cambodian restaurant for dinner, and I got a fortune cookie without the fortune inside it! Hahaha~I laughed for about five minutes XD It was hilarious...although I was the only one who found it funny :p

I can't believe I thought it was a good idea to walk around for 1 hour and 20 minutes in the pouring rain. My pants were completely soaked D: I think my love for walking [and whole wheat pasta--they were on sale!--the reason I went on that journey in the first place] has blinded me to rationality...

Classes are CANCELLED due to "extreme weather conditions", the university has "reduced operations".
Excuse me, but what?! The roads don't even look that bad from what I can see outside my window! We had even worse weather during exam time in December and you don't see them cancelling exams or anything.

I mean...on one hand, I don't have to write my quiz today...
And today's my busiest day...
But on the other hand, I really really loathe snow because of the inconvenience it creates when it inevitably melts...
And this means the cafeteria probably won't be open today. So yeah, I'd rather go to class than be hungry, thanks.

Sprained my wrist yesterday. Nothing major, but it's annoying as crap. And I wasn't even doing anything remotely cool [at least that would have returned some of my dignity...], I was just on my way to choir and the next thing I know my butt hurts lik crazy and my right hand stung like a beyotch. Stupid black ice. And I was still on campus, so plenty of people probably got their LOL of the day.
I was hoping it wasn't a sprain, but I woke up this morning and my wrist joint was swollen so...
I hate snow so much.

A tribute to the awesomeness that fell on my plate/bowl so far in my university years:
- hummus [re-discovered today! hated it before, love it now--zing!]
- coffee with milk and sugar in oatmeal [discovered on a day when I was feeling adventurous]
- shredded whole wheat bread added to anything
- barley in yogurt sauce
- squash + pumpkins
- sunflower seeds/pecan added to anything [spaghetti, salad, cake, etc]
- turkey + tuna + egg + tomato sandwich [discovered this december! I should dip this thing in coffee and see what that tastes like...]
- raw mushrooms
- potatoes dipped in cream cheese + peanut butter
- strawberry cream cheese + jam + ham sandwich
- peanut butter + jam + ham sandwich
- yellow kiwi
- blueberry juice
- carrot + raspberry juice [looks like liquified rusted copper/dried blood, tastes great]
- whole wheat pasta
- meat loaf
- couscous
- yogurt + cereal/granola/cookies/muffins/canned fruit [I wouldn't be the same person I am today without this stuff...]
Things to try:
- eggplant dip
- avocado + artichoke + eggplant + sunflower seeds + mushrooms + shredded celery [+ oysters?! ROFL] salad/sandwich/pita/pizza/spaghetti/rice
- sunflower seeds + kidney beans + peanut butter
- carrot hummus
- hummus + cucumber/carrots/celery pita
- rice cakes
- pumpkin pie
- chai latte
- steel cut oatmeal
- mashed cauliflower

It's campaigning season for student government offices on campus and it's awesome mostly because the school newspaper totally wet themselves over this kind of stuff.
Anyway, as I was walking out of the cafeteria, one campaigner came up to me and was like "HAI! Want a sodoku puzzle to play in class?"
I was stunned to the point where all I processed was, "HAI! Want something to speed your way onto the path of hobo-ism?!"
Despite that, I took the puzzle anyway--enough said.

Um okay there's this vessel [I assume that's what it is] that's been madly pulsating all day and you can actually see the skin bopping up and down and it's kinda uncomfortable because I feel like something's trying to grow out of my arm and devour the world and that would be bad 'cause I'd be kicked out out the library and then WHERE WOULD I GOOO?!
Yeah.
