Dearest Fangirls - I had a thought for your next "battle" the other day.  :) The subject is one Frank Castle.  We all know he has this unerring weakness for children - what better target for your next "movement." I'd love to see his reaction to being fan-girl'd to death and beyond.  (hiding a laugh behind a hand) Of course, I'm not openly suggesting this, because being part of the Fangirl Army means that you might have to break some laws  - which, as a Ranger, I am sworn to uphold.... No, I am merely passing along what I think to be a rather humorous idea. The walls are gleaming and white again, hung with banners and regalia from other times. Silk flags on pennant poles fluttered in the breeze and the experts had done the job well, packing fireworks into areas so that the grand finale to the fangirl uprising went out - not with a whimper, but with one hell of a bang! Leela gazed at the area, smiling softly. Perhaps the other side had started it, with X posting on Sages about Ashu's bra - he got the first strike, sure. And of course Zhilbar... but she would show them how the fangirls partied in peace time. And there was none better. Anywhere. *snaps fingers* She turned to her..sister and reminded her to get someone to bring that pool of scumble to the party. No more swimmin in it allowed. And she had to get invitations out..she wasn't certain who she could ask for help with that one. They had to invite all the resistance, plus the fangirls list personnel...plus deities..plus..owie. Hmmmmmmm....

Leela hoped that their patron Gods and Goddesses would be so understanding.* *Finally, all the stragglers had said their good byes and gone. Leela walked up the hillside and sat down in the grass, overlooking the white walled city.* Well, That's it. The troops have been disbanded. It's over. No one left but us.

I have been away. I have My reasons, available for any who wish to ask, but at the moment, it looks that local events are more important. It seems I have many things to say, and many explanations demanded of Me. I am willing to speak one-on-one with each member of the Resistance, the Uprising, and the fellows that just decided to hop in without looking. This is not the place for the discussion of why we are opposed in the first place, this is only for speaking of the recent conflict. ((OOC damage statements to be taken at face value.)) ( For the Resistance. ) ( To the Uprising. ) ( About the Why. ) ( As to the How ) Many no doubt wish to take Me to task and provide as many punitive measures as they can think up; putting aside their inability, I wonder how many of them have been in similar command positions. It is a very true statement that says: "Uneasy sits the behind that bears the boss." My opposing number surely has a better idea of what I mean now. I am hedged about with responsibilities to My people, My armies, My domains, and Myself; it is quite a maze with great difficulty finding a path to satisfy them all. Still, at the end of the day, I can look at Myself and not feel ashamed at the sight. ((MASSIVE OOC NOTE: I know all of you are going to jump down Zhilbar's throat for the last especially. What He means is that when all's said and done, he brought a battle station down to earth unharmed (If this was not the case then there would have been a great MANY casualties), broke several holes in a wall, rampaged up and down several streets and knocked a few cornices off in the process, and sent vast amounts of young girls to Sleepyland when, according to Leela, it was already past their bedtime. Good work, by the way, Leela-mun. Forcing Nexus time to fit RL? Masterful, though I have no idea why you thought it applicable in the first place. At any rate, directly causing no more than sleep and indirectly causing no harm a Band-Aid couldn't take care of, He has no problem with His actions toward the fangirl menace. On a personal note, I am at an Internet Cafe and have roughly an hour more of time before I have to get back; it is unlikely in the extreme that I'll be able to sign on again until tomorrow. Attention, the lot of ye! All of ye come sit down. I've brought refreshments. -sets down pots of tea, warm shortbred, clotted cream, strawberries, tea biscuits, sugar, cups, and utensils, including a giant teacup for Zhilbar- Alright, enough's enough. I want to speak to everyone before court martialing and lawsuits start, and we have to hire solicitors and an arbitrator to set things right. Can I propose a Bill of Rights for fangirls? This whole bloody thing's gotten out of hand, and now we've a city to rebuild. Before you know it, one side will invoke the sus law, and there'll be suspect devices, improper searchs, and a Cold War. I've been thinking, and I see no sane reason for this situation to have exploded so. So I propose that we hammer out a fangirl Bill of Rights. I can find no reason for ye all to be forbidden from future fangirling, in fact I've put down wagers on what will happen with certain individuals if they've to be fangirled. Just leave my Da out of it. -sets up a whiteboard, markers, and a laptop- Let's get to settling this. I've also bought a Death Star at the Camden Flea Market yesterday. Let's test drive it, and then Alec should come and claim it. For the record, I won't refuse ye tea, Emma, if you're so inclined. As many know, last night we encountered the enemy...and found that it was ourselves. There was a battle, a death star was crashed (no, not that one) the fangirl citidel's walks were destroyed, my troops were tumbled from their beds - their barracks and rooming houses Crushed. Thanks be to Deity, there was no loss of life or limb, but only bumps, bruises, and the like. I, Leela of the purple hair, battle Commander of the Fangirl Uprising and Co-Captain gave out disciplinary action upon those who's actions were deemed by their own hand to be in the wrong in regards to the situation. I believe these disciplinary actions to be just and received no arguments in giving them. Yet now I must step foreward for my discipline as well. As Commander and Co-Captain, there are equal ranks to mine, but none higher. And, as Commander, I am responsible for my troops, allies, and all those under this command. Therefore, if they are in the wrong, so am I. So I leave it to you, citizens of the nexus, to decide the disciplinary action of the Battle Commander of the Fangirl Uprising.

And the little ones have been tucked in. All their teddybears and othr stuffed animals have been found, though some of the older ones keep watch. Sukina walk through the hospital, keeping guard. Kurei, unusually, has three little ones sleeping in his arms. Sukina comes across Leela and drapes a blanket over her. Naoko puts up the current conditions so far: 1. Blue Frame to help rebuild. Also getting hugs and glomps 15 times a week for the next 4 weeks. That means 60 hugs and glomps for the next one month. 2 hugs a day at least. 2. Max is getting rid of the geas. (Thank you for the teddy bears. Love, the children) 3. ZHILBAR=EXPLANATION 4. GIRLS, No fangirling unregistered targets the next few days. That includes the Reserve list. 5. I was recently alerted to the fact that the Fangirl Uprising barracks were lacking in... Well... BARRACKS. Not enough space. Since Leela is a dear friend of mine, I'm offering the Fangirl Army a decommssioned "Death Star" tourist attraction. This one has some custom modifications due to a certain exceptionally fast rodent always attempting to sneak onboard, and is surrounded, or perhaps it would be better to say ENCAPSULATED, in a Space Moat of water-like liquid. Since I am NEUTRAL in this conflict, however, I am also offering a similarly designed decommssioned space station to the Resistance. Note, however, that both of these are LOANERS, and are to be returned when the conflict is at an end - preferably at least RELATIVELY intact. They possess no armaments other than defense turrets - no superlaser or anything, no fleet of fighter spacecraft. Shuttles will be provided. Here's some more apparently RANDOMLY capitalized WORDS. Because I'm too LAZY to use the ITALICS flag.
