Okay. I've finally been able to list down all of the books I wanna sell, along with Mom's old romance novels. They've all got prices too. I'll be bringing them to the newly-opened secondhand bookstore near Aeon Books on Monday, so they'll be sold by consignment. I'm posting the list here, so that if any of you guys want a title (or two, or three), I can put it on reserve.

I would really REALLY appreciate it if someone could tell me how to get PhilPay to work. It's our version of Paypal, I guess, since we don't have Paypal here. It can accept Paypal payments, and send payments to Paypal accounts, so it's just as good. I've made an account, but I can't quite figure out exactly how to make it work, and I really really want to. Things look pretty boring on this end. And I must resume planning my future for the next five years sometime soon. Meh.
I have Php 3950, combination of Christmas money and whatever was salvaged from the piggy bank incident. That amount shall have grown exponentially by this time next year.
When 12 midnight comes, I plan to be writing. You know how they say what you do the moment the new year comes is what you'll be doing for most of the year? Well, that's proven true at least once, so yeah. I resolve to do more writing this coming year.
I also resolve to stop being an insecure, paranoid bitch. Let's see how that goes. Baby steps, baby steps.o_o
There are some things that I won't be able to control/predict, so concerning those, I'll just go along with where the tides take me. Here's to hoping it all ends well.
Thanks and apologies to all those who managed to put up with my bitching/whining/mood swings/insanity/demands for attention or affection. I don't know how you managed to stand it, and I won't ask, but know that I'm grateful.
To my friends: you guys mean a lot to me. To those I've managed to get closer to this year--I'm glad to get to know you better. To those I haven't seen much--I hope we can get together more.
To those I hold dear: I cannot hope to express how much I care for you, and how lucky I am that you're part of my life, and that I'm part of yours. I love you all.

STEP ONE
Make a post (public, friends-locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. the wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("i'd love a ______ icon that's just for me") to medium ("i wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("all I want for christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV."). the important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.
STEP TWO
Surf around your friends list (or friends' friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use -- do it.
You need not spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf -- to spread the joy. gifts can be made anonymously or not -- it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Alright, here goes. My Dad's looking for someone good with brochures/designs/layouts for product packaging. Not literal packaging, though sometimes that may be the case. More like, someone who'll be able to pimp an idea/place/bargain/offer.
So here. I've uploaded two brochures. One is for our resort in Quezon, the other one's for the hot spring resort in Laguna. There are pictures, directions, a write-up, everything. Here's what you have to do. Make one brochure/poster for each resort. As long as it's pretty and it promotes the place well, it's fine. The theme and how you do it is entirely up to you, but it's limited to something that can be printed, so brochure/poster/flyer is the way to go. Do it well. We're talking money here.
