Miz's website posted details about her upcoming single today, so GLT has been updated accordingly. She's covering PINK LADY's first single, which is INSANELY DORKY 70's bubblegum pop.

I love it.

Just gave my fanlisting collective a sparkly new name and a nice little five-minute layout dripping with jailbait and hearts. My Moka list will probably be getting a new layout soon too, once this delicious chunk of eye candy arrives in my mailbox. ♥ My inner fanboy is such a slut. Hee~

I hope my scanner doesn't give me the finger and die when I try to start it up. It's been a while since I've used it.

Introducing the Akashiya Moka fanlisting, complete with a color scheme that is sure to be hideous depending on the brightness output of your screen (it looked much better on my 5 year old desktop moniter where I put it together, I swear). I have like, no drive to design lately, but I didn't want to let the list get away, so you can expect a new layout that doesn't go from muted rose to fuck-off fuschia in a nanosecond sometime soon. ^_^;

So okay, the anime ended up being only a slightly less harrowing experience than getting gang-raped in a dark Chicago alley, but hey, at least Moka was pretty! A second series is premiering later this year. Is it wrong of me to hope GONZO spends three-quarters of their animation budget on shiny Moka close-ups again?

Miz is going to be in a production of RENT later this year! She, along with Erika Mochizuki, are going to be playing Maureen.

AHHH.

How cool is that?! You know what else I love about this? Maureen is the role Idina Menzel played in the 2005 movie adaptation. Now if I play 6 Degrees I only have to do like two steps to connect Idina to Miz.

AHHH.

Miz is going to be in Rolling Stone Japan this month, too.

My copies of Mizrock's new single came the other day! Yaaay! GLT has been updated with release info and lyrics, and a little news feed thingy on the main page has been added. Come to think of it, I still need to make some media goodies. Oy.

Miz is currently touring around Japan to promote her recent singles, as well as her "Can You Make 10,000 Friends!?" campaign. I should put details about that on GLT. Hm!

Miz has a new single coming out on the 20th called Thank you xxx and I'm just bursting with excitement as usual. I've known about it for a while (because of course, the moment CD Japan sends me a new release notice for Miz I froth at the mouth for a few moments before placing a preorder), but I've been lazy when it comes to posting about it. 'Cuz I just be chill like that. Whatever that means.

The animation kinda took a dive this week, so there weren't that many overly special glam shots of Moka. Cri. HOWEVER, I managed to get at least one with Tweeny Tabitha clutching onto her chest like a toddler at lunchtime, so not all was lost. No more cri!

Is it bad that I only watch this show to see the pretty!Moka close-ups and watch the uber!Moka kick the ass?
