If you can read it all the way through then go ahead. THIS is why i spend my weekends volunteering with People for Animals (www.pfa.petfinder.org), to save as many of them as possible. And why spay/neuter programs are so important!

Friday's are the day that most people look forward to, this is the day that I hate, and wish that time will stand still on Thursday night. Thursday night, late, after nobody's around, my friend and I go through a fast food line, and buy 50 dollars worth of cheeseburgers and fries, and chicken. I'm not allowed to feed the dogs on Thursday, for I'm told that they will make a mess in the gas chamber, and why waste the food. .... I do as I'm told. He watches until all the dogs, and cats (thrown in together) are fighting and screaming. The sounds is very muffled to me because of my ear plugs. ... In 40 minutes, I have to go back and unload the dead animals. I pray that none survived, which happens when I overstuff the chamber. I pull them out with thick gloves, and the smell of carbon monoxide makes me sick. So does the vomit and blood, and all the bowel movements. I pull them out, put them in plastic bags. ... I then start cleaning up the mess, the mess, that YOU PEOPLE are creating by not spay or neutering your animals. The mess that YOU PEOPLE are creating by not demanding that a vet come in and do this humanely. You ARE THE TAXPAYERS, DEMAND that this practice STOP! |

I have to add, no offense to these poor women, but what kind of idiot says theyre a rescue and GIVES cats away???
I should add that if ANYONE sees an add like this and doesnt want to contact the poster, please forward the info to me and I will contact them.
Usually they are very receptive to any information and are relieved not to have put a beloved pet in danger!
There are free adoption contracts online like this one not to mention plenty of online info like this on just why this kind of "free to good home" ad is a bad idea.
Look at the other NJ man who tortured and killed three cats he got that were "free to good home".
This is an article about that psycho.
And this is the Freehold man who did the same thing to 22 cats

Appolonia, 50, of Aberdeen is alleged to have tortured and killed 19 cats given to him by animal rescuers when he answered their newspaper ads offering the felines for free to a good home.
The SPCA investigation determined that between October and December, Appolonia had acquired about 19 cats by answering adoption ads placed by citizens in local newspapers, Monmouth County Prosecutor Luis A. Valentin has said.
Appolonia has confessed to killing 14 cats after torturing them. He told authorities he would use various means to injure the cats, and then let them live for a few days before drowning them. |

| Food banks need PET FOOD too |
[Jun. 3rd, 2008|10:31 am] |

FRANKLIN, Mass. - Diana Bardsley wiped tears from her eyes as she recalled taking food off her plate to feed her beloved spaniel Hunter and two Siamese cats.
Her greatest fear: that she could be forced to surrender the animals as she struggled to stretch her food stamps and Social Security income to meet the escalating cost of living.
Some hope was restored after she visited a local food pantry, which has started offering free pet food to help owners keep their animals out of shelters.
I'm goin to find out if any of the local food banks will accept pet food donations. If everyone could do the same maybe less people would need to abandon or give up their beloved pets!
I bet they also could use kitty litter come to think of it... |

Even if you can only donate $1, that can still make a big difference.
So open your hearts, love big and help Barbara out :)
For: CaraLynn
I had posted this info in a bulletin yesterday, PLEASE REPOST!
Barbra of Here Kitty Kitty needs help
Since she still hasnt sorted thing out with Petfinder. com she is very low on donations.
Two days ago she had to rush one of her new "moms" Surprise who was pulled from a high kill shelter preggo to the vet for horrible Mastitis and one of two very bad glands ruptured last night. Imagine a pimple 1000 times bigger and it pops. Similar.... the gland explodes leaves an open hole and lots of puss keeps draining. Could/might need surgery to close
Her own cat Casanova also had to be rushed to the vet for chronic non-regentive anemia and is on epogen shots (like my Spot was when he first got sick). They both had to be hospitalized for two days now.
Barbra has NO FUNDING FOR THIS. anything anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated. as soon as my paycheck goes into direct deposit I'm goin to send her something...her pay pal email is adoptapet@optonline.net or donations can be made directly to the vets office All Creatures Veterinary Hospital (516) 432-2946 733 W Park Ave Long Beach, NY 11561
Yesterday for the two was over $1,200 and more tests are being run and an xray today ($145) and THEN they both might need surgery PLEASE REPOST |
