a new first in my life [May. 12th, 2008|04:18 am]

So I think that it is only fitting that today of all days(mother's day) it finally happened. the one thing that I truly think is the passage that most people dread. the one thing that points the finger at you and says "see I told you so. you are not immortal." and to top it all off, I found it in my rear view mirror. as I was driving down the freeway, on my way to work, it was flapping in the breeze just flying around. and I thought at first, wow that cat hair is hanging in there nicely, im going to have to pluck it out when I get to work. and then I put my hair up into a ponytail when I got to work and realized that it wasn't coming out.... *sighs* yep that is right folks... my first white hair.
I think that the most amusing part is that I actually had one of the nurses check it out for me. not that I view it as a sickness or anything. I just wanted someone to make sure that I am not seeing things or worse yet that I am getting worked up over a cat hair. but alas nope it is mine. right there in my temple is my first white hair. no the good news is that it is white, not gray. I always said that if it came in gray I was going to dye it. now that I know that it is white. im happy. maybe it will come in as a swatch of white like a bride of frankenstein. that would be interesting. or at least I could dye it different colors. my friend julie says that she is going to start calling me mrs slocom. the old lady from are you being served.. ah well so much for being young and cute. hard to be young with white hair. *sighs* im old....

so the wierdest thing happened last night. I dreamed my own death. it wasn't the car, the bridge or the fall that killed me. I killed myself. I was driving along and went over the bridge. I woke myself up and then I decided that I was going to try and redream the dream and experience what I needed to. so when I fell back to sleep I rewound my dream and flew over the bridge. the free fall was AMASING.... I have never felt anything like that and then the car just dissapeared from around me. I was free falling and flying at the same time. I remember that the ground came up at me quickly and this time I didn't wake up. the ground felt squishy. not as hard as I have always thought. I remember getting up and seeing myself. and thinking hmmmm..... where is the REZ spot. LOL I remember walking around and talking to people that I haven't seen in years. all in all it was a quite plesent dream.

Just to let everyone know who was not at the yule party last night at pinky's house..... dustin and I got married.
I need to thank EVERYONE who helped out either driving or helping out to sew or making coffee on those late nights. and a special thank you to Pinky for helping to make costumes for those that we couldn't rent for. I could not have done it with out you. thank you to everyone for dealing with my insanity for the past three days.
I will make sure to give people pictures that want them. just let me know

so I am sitting here waiting for my wonderful boyfriend to get home and I started to remember conversations that I have had with people in the past.
SO....... HERE IS THE QUESTION:

upon walking out of the shower with only a hand towel on your person you notice that there is a strange person in your house watching you. now I know that the natural reaction is to cover ones self and in this lays the question. which part of yourself are you going to cover? the hand towel is not big enough to cover both your breasts and your crotch. so.... which do you choose? and why.

now my natural response was to cover my crotch. I didn't have much for girlie bits when this question was posed to me. (I was 11 years old or so) but cherie brought up that most of the girls that she had asked responded the same. the curiosity is to see how everyone answers.
