Holy cow, I haven't posted since August. And I thought I was doing better! I still read all your entries though.
Let's see, what's happened since August...
I posted the new car, that's fun. It was really nice out today so I was finally able to drive really fast down a highway with the music blaring and the windows all down. Hadn't really got the chance to do that yet.
Work kinda sucks right now, but I'm dealing with it. We're probably going to move out of state in a year; need to start fresh somewhere, and my only loyalties here are the Red Sox & Pats :D
I'm thinking about new tattoos, have pretty definitive ideas, but I want to think on them for awhile. Depending the cost, I might get one of them this year. The fix up to my current one I want to wait for kids to fix up, because I'd like to put names in it (and it's cliche to put your husband's (or other SO's) name on you.
Um, going on vacation in a bit. Got a really cute bathing suit, but I want to lose weight. I don't see that happening especially with this crappy work schedule.
Besides that, well, my life is rather boring. Ok, it's not that bad, but half of my rants are on work, and I can't really post about that.
Hey, wait, I can make stuff friends-only, can't I? All this stuff I keep forgetting about. I blame laziness ;)

So this morning one of the guys at work says to one of the other guys at work, "Hey, do your kids watch veggietales?" To which the other guy said, "No, what is it?" So the first guy says, "It's this Christian cartoon it's really cute, but my girls, this morning, were singing a song from it over and over again." My reply, was "Which song was it?" He said, "Pirates who don't do Anything." Me: "Oh, yeah, I know that one. Actually I know a punk band that covered it." I think this response threw him for a loop. So now I have Relient K's version playing in the office (side note: My upload speed at home is as fast as my download speed at work. That's crazygonuts.). So I try to call my supposed PCP today to get a doctor's appointment. I had just switched from Rodd's insurance to my own company's insurance (cuz it's cheaper), and selected a nice doctor from there pretty little list of doctors. Stupidest way ever to do it, and now it seems that it is confirmed that way. You see, I do a search based on my address, and picked someone that looked good (Harvard Med school grad, close to apt). Some number of months later (today) I try to figure out where this doctor actually is. It takes some sleuthing, you see, because the phone number listed is a fast busy. So I do a search for the doctor on a site for the practice, and find that it seems she got moved to another practice not too far away. Whatever again, I can deal. So I call up to try and make an appointment, and what do I get? "Sorry, she's been out and noone in this practice is accepting any new patients at the moment." What?! Then how the heck do I have the DR listed as my PCP? Fine, fine. Make a little member login at bluecross. See that I can actually change my PCP. Fine, dandy, whatever. Do a search for doctors again. This time I call first. Called the other practice (the one that was closer to me). They're not taking any new patients either. This, mind you, makes the first 5 pages of search results for a doctor completely invalid. The last 10 are doctors in Boston proper (and I'll be darned if I want to go into the city for that). The *BEST* part about this whole thing? Because it's an HMO, in order for me to get anything done to me at all, I need a referral. From my PCP. The one that isn't taking new patients regardless of the fact that they're listed as my PCP. Otherwise Blue Cross won't give up the $$$. Yeah, that's right. I'm paying for insurance that I don't have coverage for. So. Pissed. Off. Current Mood: angry

Ok, so I went to E3 My CA pictures are all here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/aeralla/And the Wii is the best thing ever. Um... besides that my life's about the same. I work, I go home, I eat, I go to bed, I go to sleep, I get up, etc, etc, etc.... We may be moving again soon though, if Rodd gets the job he wants. He's calling them in a lil under an hour, lets hope for the best.

Sure, I'll get taunted that my inlaws are in Disney World. Sure, I may have to stay late at work due to the fact that I'm in a "hurry up and wait" state. But that doesn't matter. Tonight, I am getting a Christmas tree. Tomorrow, I'm getting a TV, going Christmas shopping, and going self-shopping. Tomorrow night, our company holiday party is at F1 Boston. And Sunday, I'm making pancakes. And decorating the tree. And going to church. As a side note, I'm reviving old away messages on AIM. Anyone else remember "Gone crazy, back later." and "Naked and wet."? Current Mood: good Current Music: Transsiberian Orchestra
