Today marks the 22nd anniversary of The Great Mouse Detective released into theaters on July 2nd, 1986! And gads, I still have the memories at 7 years old watching it on the big screen! Many thanks to the wonderful and talented people who made this memorable film possible!

ukiha)I saw this wallpaper by Athein on DA, and was inspired to make my own. I'm happy with how it turned out, so I figured I'd share with you all. I did it for fun, so it's not perfect or particularly accurate to Basil's home in the movie. I made the wood myself, the WP is a decorative background, and the rest are random peices of furniture or screencaps.
Of course, credit for the idea as well as the general composition goes to the aforementioned artist ^_^
