I am pleased to announce the return of Bale Calendars:

Randy and I went to a signing by Rob Halford. I was so excited! I gave him a framed drawing that I drew of him as Metal Monkey. He laughed and said it was really cool!!! Here's the drawing:

You probably guessed from the lack of a June calendar that Bale calenders have ceased production. Mostly due to burnout and lack of inspiration. Sorry!

I've started getting into papercraft, and here is my first project that i finished a week ago:

This month's theme is Asian Awareness Month:

Tragically, Bean 1 passed away on February 10. He died as a result of a hamster disease called wet tail, and will be missed. We suspect that he had been exposed to the disease at Petco before we brought him home, as he had been lethargic and incredibly quiet during his entire stay with us. On to a lighter note....

Here is my new hamster Bean 2! He is much more lively than Bean 1 and has already gotten out of the cage once. He is a long-haired syrian hamster and is very frisky! More pictures on my flickr:
