| I woke up at 1:00 and just laid there for about 45 minutes. Listening to music, singing, and petting Toto.
I miss choir. I miss singing. I really do. I could go join choir again, but I wouldn't be able to join til January. I can't be in it in the Fall because of band. I dunno, I might join again. I really hate the practices, and I really hate the concerts, and I really hate some of the music, but I love to sing.
I do believe I am going to create my own graphics journal. Just for making random graphics when I am bored like I am now.
And I found out my sister isn't going to be home til tomorrow.
That makes me so happy.
I'm feeling sad today.
I don't know why, I just am.

My sister's not here because she's at a friend's house.
THANK GOODNESS.
That makes me happy.
Plus this means that tomorrow I will have the entire house to myself til about 5 PM, provided that I wake up.

And now I'm really hungry and he's asleep. I have to pee really really bad and my mom's phone is dead, as is mine. If she finds out I'm dead.
I wish she'd hurry up and leave so I can pee.

| Okay. The concert. This is going to be long.
We got into Charlotte at about 6:00 or so. Drove around, stopped at a few shops. We arrived at Verizon Wireless around 7:00ish. Now, I don’t know If any of you have ever been to Verizon Wireless Ampitheatre, but for those of you who haven’t, it’s outside. So we walked around outside the actually stage area for a while. Listened to some local Charlotte band. Then we got some ice cream. Well we were sitting down at one of the picnic tables and I noticed someone who looked really familiar, and realized it was the guitarist from Hoobastank. I was like the only one in the whole place who recognized him. I was gonna go up and say hi but he was talking to some sound dude and I didn’t want to interrupt or anything. Plus I didn’t want to feel like I was invading his space. Anyways, we finished our ice cream and went and found our seats, which was row L (row 8 or 9 or so). Our seats were a little to the right, I sat closest to the middle. Then Modern Day Zero came on. I had never heard of them, but they were really good. They played a good show, lots of cool lights. I liked them so much I went to the merchandise stand and bought their CD, and it’s good. I recommend you check them out. So then Hoobastank came on. They were really good. They played “Out of Control” first, and a lot of other songs from “The Reason” CD, but they also played “Running Away,” which I was happy about. They were really energetic…especially the lead singer, who at one point took his shirt off and let me tell you, he is very, very, very nice-looking. Very. Anyways, so they got off the stage and Velvet Revolver took forever to come on. The venue was starting to fill up now. About 45 minutes later, Velvet Revolver came on. The stage was dark, but you could see everyone’s shadows. The first song was “Sucker Train Blues” and on the first note the lights came on. IT WAS AWESOME. Duff was wearing a black shirt (which he later lost, which made me REAL happy) and the black pants he normally wears, with the belt he normally wears. Scott was wearing a red and white stripped shirt with a tie, all of which he had off by the third song. Slash was wearing his black leather pants, and Dave was wearing a black shirt too, I believe. Unfortunately, I couldn’t see Matt from where we were sitting L. They played “Do It For the Kids” and “Headspace,” and I lost track after that. Overall they played all the songs from the CD except for “You Got No Right” and “Loving the Alien,” which made me really sad. They also played “It’s So Easy,” “Mr. Brownstone” (I was flipping out when they started that song…that was awesome), and “Sex Type Thing.” They also played another slow song that I didn’t know (it was a cover). At one point, (I think it was during “Set Me Free”) Scott (Weiland) came out in the crowd and went to the middle, where he was lifted on someone’s shoulders. That was awesome. At the end, they threw out a bunch of picks and such, unfortunately I wasn’t close enough to get one.
Yeah, I would DEFINITELY go see them again.

| I. Hate. My. Sister.
I know it's wrong to be hating on family members and crap, but I'm sorry. I hate her. I really, really, really do.
First band practice of the year was Thursday. It was a lot of fun. We have six new rookies in my section. We had practice this afternoon too. It was AWESOME. We sound so good. I can't wait. We're going to kick some butt this year.
Oh, and I got assistant section leader, which is pretty cool. It makes me happy.
Unfortunately my dearest mother turns on me at the last minute and says I can't go to the Pain In Life show, which really really really made me sad. I wanted to go so bad. Now I won't get to see them til June 24th.
I can't wait til I can move out. I am so tired of this place. Of my room, of my sister, my father. Everything. I want to be on my own.
I thought I could run away, but I've only got two bucks, which culd be a slight problem.
Besides, I'd miss Velvet Revolver, Hoobastank, Three Days Grace, Crossfade, and Styx.
On a lighter note, my dad's out of town, which makes me overly joyful.
My sister's friend is coming over tonight. I'm thinking black, black, and more black. Maybe if I wear enough black and scare them enough they'll leave me alone.

I think I am completely going to switch over from LiveJournal and GreatestJournal to MySpace. I like it better. Unfortunately, it's blocked at school. I dunno, I still may use the others some.

Okay. Something I have to get off my chest about roleplay.
I hate bisexual/gay main characters. I don't mind it so much if it's a lesser character, but I mean come on. Harry is not gay. Nor is Sirius, nor is Lupin. Sirius and Lupin do not have some secret love for each other. If your rpg is going to be canon then none of these characters are homosexual. Nor is Ron or Hermione. This really bugs me. Nothing against homosexuals or anything. It's just all of Hogwarts is not homosexual. CANON, PEOPLE, CANON.

Band banquet is tomorrow. I'm excited...I get my letter. Except everytime I think about it it reminds me of Tyler, simply because he asked me out the day before the band banquet last year, at like 2:00 AM.
Officers get posted Monday. I hope Courtney and I get squad leader. I'm okay if I don't get section leader. I'm not sure I completely want it yet anyway. Besides it's Keri's senior year. I didn't think I'd get it anyway.
We also get our marching music Monday. I can't wait!
And then it's back to band camp and football games. Woohoo!
I can't wait til the year is over. I am so sick of my classes. I am so sick of my teachers. I am so sick of Dr. Slater's haircut and the way she shakes her head like a maniac. (Oh, how I hate that.)
Anyways, I'm off.
