hi everyone! i have and love ( this ) but i don't have to stop wearing it just set since i'm in florida. however if i'm going to be wearing it out places like restaurants, instead of just outside, i need a cardigan or something to go over it because like i said.. i'm in florida. florida loves air conditioning, so i am always cold. i'd like opinions of what color cardigan you think would look best. i tried white, but it sort of reminded me of a church outfit... idk. help! :)

I've had this problem with my photoshop, when I choose a new color from my swatches instead of going to my foreground color it goes to my background color. That means every time I choose a new color I have to switch it from background to foreground, which is really annoying. I don't know what I did to make it do this or how I can change it, so help?

I recently purchased a MAC Mineralize compact and I want to know what are your favorite brushes for applying it? It doesn't matter the brand - just one that works well and doesn't fall apart during usage. Thanks!

i've been wearing a bit of MAC fluidline lately, but just some on my upper lid. really not much at all.
i'm going to the lake tomorrow with some friends. should i skip the fluidline? i'm wearing waterproof pencil liner on the bottom lid and waterproof mascara, and i'm just afraid that this will bleed into my eyeball. i'm not sure how well it stays on or how water-resistant it is.
thanks in advance, loooves!

| fitday.com |
[Friday, Sep 5th 2008 at 06:09 pm] |
so i was just introduced to this site: http://www.fitday.com
it's a free site to "promote" a healthier lifestyle. of course, be careful if you're going to be an obsessive calorie counter.
it has a section for you to log your food (again, dangerous if you are prone to having an eating disorder). so you can keep track of your daily diet. For instance if you only wanted to a 50% carb, 25% protein, and 25% fat diet, it helps you by showing you what you're actually taking in. also, it lists all the nutrients you had that day, so you can tell if you are deficient in any vitamins.
also, from using this site, i found out that a tuna sandwich from subway (foot long) is over a 1,000 calories. wtf, right?
it has tons more features than just logging food. you can log your weight and your ideal weight (and time to achieve it), and the site can calculate a healthy amount of calories you need to cut a day to reach that goal.
it's just a good tool to have for nutrition n00bs.
again, this is not a site for you to obsess over, just more like an informative site.

| The Body Shop TTO Products? |
[Friday, Sep 5th 2008 at 06:59 pm] |
Have any of you ever used the Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil line? I just noticed they have one, and I have a bottle of Tea Tree Oil that I use to target my blemishes and it works woooonderrrs! So I was wondering how their face washes/masks/scrubs with Tea Tree Oil are?
Do they work? Are they over drying? Would you recommend them?
I have combination skin which tends to lean to the oiler side after I put makeup on.
I'm specifically looking at the following products: 1 2 3 4 5 6
On a side note, thanks everyone for the oily skin issue. Today I just washed my face in the AM with Cetaphil and then did Queen Helene, I didn't tone, but I did use my eye serum and I did moisturize. I used a mineral pressed powder underneath my EDM and I wasn't as oily as I have been the past few days. I've decided to only use my toner once a day, and moisturize 2x a day, cleanse with Cetaphil 2x a day, and use my eye serum as normal. Also mask (QH) 1x a week and exfoliate 1x a week as well.

UGH, wtf? So I work in cosmetics and the gal that works at Khiels has been using me as an experiment to clear up my skin with only their products. But lately my skin seems worse! She's had me using the herbal blue cleanser and a toner (I alternate between just plain witch hazel and their Yerba mate toner) and a moisturizer (i switch between the PCA oil free and a thicker sunscreen one) I'm getting nasty breakouts along my jawline (something that isn't the norm for me) and it's lots of tiny little bumps and a few whiteheads.
Does this sound more like an allergic reaction than just a breakout?
Because normally I'm extremely combination (very oily in the T zone and everything else is norm. to dry) and I get a few breakouts here and there (mostly little bumps on my forehead, tiny clogged pores around my nose and maybe a big nasty undergrounder on my cheek around that time of the month)
I've been using an extractor but I started that before the Khiels stuff. It seemed like it got better for a bit but now it's worse. The gal said it's because I'm "freaking my skin out" because i keep switching stuff and granted, I'm not the best at doing the whole 3 step process every night (sometimes I just use the toner before I fall asleep...lately I've been having a lot of late nights and sometimes dont even get to the makeup...but at least I wear Bare Minerals usually)
what is going on here? I think I'm gonna switch skincare but I'm totally unsure of what to use because my skin is such a spaz

| Blue dye |
[Friday, Sep 5th 2008 at 03:52 pm] |
So, on a whim last month, I bleached my hair from the reddish-brown that it had been and dyed it a bright, jewel-tone blue. I didn't want to continue with the blue, but rather I want to fade it out so I can dye my hair back to blonde and let it grow out.
( Proof that it was, at one time, fantastic )
( The huge mess that it became )
I've been using the good old Suave shampoo and then Garnier conditioner afterword so my hair doesn't get dry from fading the color. It's mostly back to a platinum blonde but the last bit of blue just doesn't want to let go!
Will this last dye fade out? Or should I be doing something differently to make it fade faster? Would blonde hair color cover it up, maybe?
Thanks for your help.

| Quick question... |
[Friday, Sep 5th 2008 at 05:04 pm] |
Maybe a stupid one though....
What's the best browser to find images (ie-for making icons from)?
Is there something better out there than google image search? I could have sworn I read something about that just recently, but heck if I know where.
Thanks in advance!

| "white-free"/truly clear deodorant?? |
[Friday, Sep 5th 2008 at 01:57 pm] |
Hey, ladies. Anyone got a great personal recommendation for an antiperspirant/deodorant that does NOT leave even a hint of white marks on clothing? I'm SO fed up with my Secret I could scream ... got lovely white streaks putting on a new black shirt this morning and I am just over it!
Thanks!
