iPod touch and phone case? [Sunday, July 20th, 2008 @ 12:44am] ipod [carrieellen] I now have a refurb 16GB iPod touch, which is fast becoming a PDA-like lifesaver with cool music. But seeing as I also have Verizon and have no need for the iPhone, I have to carry around both my cell phone and my iPod. So my question: anyone have any recs for a pouch/case that will hold both the iPod touch and a smaller cell phone such as the LG Chocolate? Thanks in advance for any tips/help. love me

And I have the music on my computer but I can't/don't know how to get the musc on my itunes. I go to "open with" and do itunes and my itunes open, but no new music... Andddd, I do like open with after try to put it in a folder & it like does nothing. I don't know what to do. I did it on my old computer but I can't do it now =[ and also, it won't let me drag the music from my desktop to the itunes. love me

macbook not recharging completely [Sunday, July 20th, 2008 @ 5:34am] macintosh [monstermeow] Hi, my macbook (not sure what series, if there even is a series...it's the first one from 2007 I *think*) has lately not been charging fully. At first I noticed the battery level would be constantly displayed as 98%... then it started going down to 97% for a few days, and I was worried but for some reason the next day it was back up to 100%. Then it started going down again, and since yesterday it's been at 96%. The light on the charger is always green, and my macbook is pretty much always connected to the electrical outlet. Usually I don't turn it off, just let it put itself to sleep - I wondered if that could be the issue, but when I turned it off for a full day today it still hadn't fully charged. Can you think of any reasons that my battery is either being drained or is not recharging completely? Thank you for any help! 6 lovers | love me

well, well, well. I was really really dissapointed while watching the previews before TDK at the regular theater and seeing the movie start with no HPHBP clip. Bummer, but I thought I'd share. =P 14 lovers | love me

An introduction to Harry Potter... [Friday, July 18th, 2008 @ 2:39pm] harry_potter [ambition_skill] So I had an interesting experience yesterday. :) I babysit my young niece and nephew, (5yrs & 3yrs, respectively) on the weekdays. And after watching A Bug's Life... over... and over... and over... and over... and over... and over again, I figured I give Harry Potter a shot. Thought it might keep their attention for at least a few minutes, since my niece is always running around the house putting magic spells on everyone with her princess wand and my nephew's favorite movie is Star Wars (the original trilogy, of course xD). Anyway! I was really really surprised how interested they were! Obviously they got restless during some of the longer talking bits, but they pretty much sat still through the whole thing. So of course now I'm planning to buy them Harry Potter their first birthday they'll be able to read long books! But this made me curious if anyone else had any stories of how they introduced Harry Potter to any younger family members? PS - This was a bit long, lol! 28 lovers | love me

Harry Potter Comics [Friday, July 18th, 2008 @ 6:24pm] harry_potter [branquignole] [ mood | frustrated ] I'm getting a bit frustrated by now, because I've been looking for some comics I'd stumbled across once, but I don't seem to be able to find them anymore. A few details about them: I found them on lj. Most unfortunately, I can't recall the user's name, but I know they haven't updated for a rather long time. There were only 5 to 10 comics on the lj, I believe. They were about Harry and Draco, some of them (most, I think) were in fact Harry/Draco. I remember one where Harry gets all "OMG, Draco, did you betray me? Are you PREGNANT? WTF", Draco smirks his bit and then he produces a ferret from under his jumper. There's another one, too, with Draco all "Hey Potter, my wand's bigger than yours". Harry, being naive and cute asks Draco if he wants to know who has the biggest wand in Hogwarts. "It's Hagrid! He gets all nervous when he uses it!" - Draco: "You've seen Hagrid use his wand? Ugh!" - Harry: "Yes, but you won't tell anyone, right? Are you okay? You look a tad bit green in the face." Something along these lines. Can anybody help me? I'm desperate to find these comics! 7 lovers | love me

(Selling Boxset) [Friday, July 18th, 2008 @ 3:13am] harry_potter [rosedoll] I'm (sadly having to) sell my Harry Potter hardcover boxset (books 1-5) as well as the 6th book in paper back. :( I really am trying to raise my college fund and selling most of my items is one of the first ways to do this!
