Hobbie
Lately one of my favorite past time have been either reading manga, or singing and recording my voice for fun.
But a few days ago, our sound drive has been accidently(-_-) deleted, so I just realized I can't record.
... I'm not so happy about this. -_-...

On a second note, there are gazillion pictures I need to sort name and upload-
but I'm way too busy at the moment for Summer vacation bible school preparation.
I spent all of my last week practically at church, learning new worship dances.

Aside from one day I went and saw career counsellor.
Overall, it feels fantastic to keep busy. I plan to work on my resume rest of the afternoon before I leave to meet up with
Mil-al wheat mission society people for LA camp I'll be leaving in three days.

But MAN. I want my sound card fixed.XD

Back home
I love Vancouver.
Where I live is truly beautiful. It's the city perfectly mixed with brilliant greens and blues of water with ever changing sky.
People told me, you gotta look around the world to see the beauty of this relexed place-
and I could not agree more upon returning.

I'm home.(since last Wednesday)

Most likely...
Last day in Korea.

Yesterday was well spent in Korean theme park called Lotte world. I enjoyed last three ride which were 1)Gyro drop-Falls down from 25-F high apartment high. 2)Atlantica-A train ride which goes in 75km/hr 3)Gyro swing- Swings people in circular seat. Rises up in angle of 35. It was interesting to see the highest point in the park crooked, right under my feet.

Then I went to a steam building, which the whole building is consisted of sauna and speacial steam rooms. I had done special Korean exfoliation in ten years, and then visited various sauna rooms. Steam buildings are common in Korea as family leasure. I was surprised at the fact how many facilities they had. They even had "sleep" rooms.-I spent the night there. XD

If I get lucky and get a phone call for one week extension this morning, then I'll stop by Tokyo on my way back and return next week. If not, I go back to Canada today.<3

I would like to see Japan, but as for Korea my one month trip was well worth it. I have no regrets.
Any curiousities I had were filled, and I have seen everything I wanted to.

It was fantastic.

Over indulgence?
Considering the fact my mother has not bought a single shirt out here in Korea for herself-
maybe I'm over-indulging.
Okay. Definately over indulging.

I think I bought myself about 5 shirts 3 skirts and 4 shoes.(A sandal, oxford, flat, sneakers)
I brought no outfit for me to wear here because I figured I should grab some from here.
1 Magazine for future illustration and 1 novel for cheap price of three bucks.
Foundation and base because mine just ran out.
I bought fair bit of souviniors. They don't cost much each, but adding up it's fair bit.
Call me stupid but I can't help but buy some accessories as well.
I cut my hair(For Nana cos. But my stupid bangs are still so short.)-so I bought three hairpins, and couple Vivienne Westwood fake for Nana cosplay.

And here comes the kicker.
Four albums. Utada Hikaru's newest album"Heart Station"(WHICH I LOVE! STAY GOLD MADE ME CRY.)
Porno graffiti The Best Blues-album with Melissa/Hitori no Yoru.(I grabbed this today and spent my last penny.)
Reading the biography inside the cover I was amazed that Hitori no Yoru was only their "SECOND" single. Wow, that kinda sound for their second single. I was astonished.
Sakamoto Maaya "Yuunagi Loop"-It's not her best but it was what they ONLY had. >.>
And last but not least, "Nana Best"

Hnn. Maybe my decision to buy records to support artists might pave pathway to my financial hell.

Not that I regret any of my purchase,
I'm sure my parcel alone would fill more than a bag we brought.
Perhaps I should learn to spend smart, considering collectively reletives gave me about 400 bucks.

Considering the fact I had put in about $250 for online shopping on one site the other day,
(I have about 80 dollar worth of stuff for delivery. I hope my mom won't try to kill me.
I was "THIS" close to spending it all, but I held back and told my mom about this money.
She told me not to spend any, but I cut down my spending from 239 to 80.^^;;;;)
It doesn't look like my spending habit has changed too much.

On the whole note, I only have spent $80 dollars total of my money out here, so it's not too bad-the other things were all good will of my dear relitives.
But I'm sure, if I was smarter about spending money, perhaps I went back home couple hundread dollars richer?(Not that I regret ANY of my spendings. In fact I'd be happier if I can shop some more.)

What can I say.
I think I'm a shop-a-holic.

How the hell do you guys spend smart?

*PS:Luca, I went to the place again today for Nana album, and turns out they ran out.
I'm sorry. OTL-Well that and I ran outta my funds.

Anybody who haven't done it?
Centennial manga club is doing a group reg, and they want to collect more people. I was invited as an alumini. XD
Current prez says more people the better, so strangers are welcome to join in on this pre-reg.

You know, next year we should do this within ARC too. XD

For a change I am not the chatterbox here.XD

Log 03?(I can't keep track anymore.)- At my grand parent's house
So here's the whole adventure, at least in rural area, since I haven't finished writing down my "In China" notes.

Right now it's the April 30th 7:18pm here in Junrabookdo(Province), Puangun Hwamokri. Coming down here was rough to start.

The whole trip started yesterday.
Yesterday April 29th )

I'll log about today again sometime.
My mother wants to go home, and I have no access to computer in my grandma's house.
Right now I'm over at grandpa's sister's house, taking hostage of young uncle's computer.XD

Well then, another update coming up soon.<3

Short update
Full update coming up soon.
I had NO ACCESS to any internet in China, so it'll take me at least good half a day for a nice long update.
But I had a WONDERFUL time!-and that's an understatement-
I learned so much, met some great people, saw some crazy people, and also almost theived, my eyes wide open, during broad daylight.
Blast is an understatement. It's crazy but I don't feel any culture shock at all! Both China and Korea.
Hnn. something tells me someone might be made for travel!

I'm updating shortly at a local internet cafe, near by my aunt's house.
It smells nasty here-full of smoke, though it's only 10:28am-
but at least I get to write ne? ^^

I'm sending files through via sendspace, and I'll have to write a report on China. XD
Yup, a report. XD I took pages and pages of notes.<3

Man, I do have access to internet, but it's hard to fine time to sit down and write stuff, while my mom's all excited about her plans to visit everybody!
Naturally her daughter has to come with, na? ^^;;;;

I haven't got the chance to take pictures of Korea yet, but for sure, I'll keep you guys posted!
*hugs* Have a great day ya all!

LOG 00: Arrival in Korea
It is strange.
It's been whole decade since I've been to the country,
but I don't feel ailianated at all.

It's a weird sensation since I cannot say I feel at home-
but at the same time I smile at little things that didn't change.

The first thing I noticed as I stepped out side of the airplane-
was that air smelled foul. -_-....
It had touch of smoke and something I cannot place my fingers on,
but it was a tad suffocating.

Overall, it didn't feel like the country hadn't changed much,
at least this suberb.
I see the small familiar alleys were crouded with little kids running around, and the shops were set up in crooked way, and there were Korean texts everywhere! Kinda like how Japanese people does advertising.
All buses had all stops written on them with plastic stickers, and even the bus stops were made of with large square commercial pad.
Even at the airport people were cutting in at the bus line, while we were loading our parcels onto the bus.(XDXD-I see why the reason 8282-ppalri ppalri-means fast, fast is famous in countries other than Korea)
They didn't seem to have a second to be patient.
However, it was also nice because random strangers were helpful everywhere-
and it was nice seeing my mother talking to a bus driver.

After getting off at the Gongcheon 4th avenue-
we waited for about 10 minutes until my youngest uncle came to greet us.
He was surprised by amount of parcel we had with us.
XD Heh heh... My mom was being a packrat, and in total we had stuff worth of 88kgs.(They were all gift items, with one small bag for my belongings, and another for my moms.)
Actually, there was another happening at the airport back in Vancouver,
but I'll save that for the other day.

While my uncle shipped(xD) our belongings with car,
we walked the streets with uncle's wife, whom I hadn't met ever.
I've only saw her pictures, but we got along just fine.
She led us to my youngest aunt's house, where I was greeted by my younger cousin Andrew(who is actually Canadian, since he was born in Canada).

Andrew couldn't remeber me at all since he was wee little baby when he was in Vancouver, but he was amiable little kid!
With four families gathered around, my aunt's place was quite crowded-
as she hosted 6 adults and 6 kids.
Andrew and younger cousin of Andrew's(not mine) were immidiately attatched to me, and all night we were playing game of handslap A.B.C.D, and a rock paper scissor game called "Tap tap tap".... or that's what I think it is called.
I love Andrew. XD He gave me big hugs and asked me if it's okay to sleep beside me on the floor. XD
His friendliness made my day!

Though I'd love to stay in Korea a little longer and adjust to the time difference, we have a flight scheduled in less then 2 hours to China, Beijing.
I'm looking forward to seeing Manrijanseung(I forgot the English name for it, but this path is visible from the moon. Please let me know the English name if you know it. XD)

However, I wish I can skip the plain since sitting on my bum seriously hurts my tailbone. -_-

Ah, on a random note-
Never watch a Disney movie dubbed in Korean. -_-
I watched Enchanted dubbed in Korean during the flight,
and I was bleeding inside as they narrated all the songs.-_-!!!!!

Beowulf
I went and saw Beowulf with Danila and Daniel today.
It was entertaining watch, but Jolie as water demon really cracked me up on entrance,
at how blatantly Toom-Raidar it was. XD She even gets a full screen on end credits.XD
It certainly was great seeing Danila after a long time, though, honestly,
I would've preferred the meeting more so if it was just me and her.
No offense to Daniel, but three is whole lot different from a party of two.
Since its not likely for me to see her before Christmas or her birthday,
I handed her the present.
She opened it right away. XD(W00T)
It was voodoo doll necklace, a book we both promised to read,(Golden Compass! We'll go watch the movie afterwards.)a journal and chocolates.
She sniffed good deal of scents because I demanded suggested so. ^^
Assigning scent to friends is well on the way, my good friend whom suggested it! ^_-

-Done also today-
-sent a parcel out to A-chan. (I hope it'll get there safe!)
-Done partial Christmas shopping.
-Packaged gifts, wrote a letter.
-Went to the doctors to help mom out.
-Canceled NSL waterpark.

-Done earlier the week-
-Did NSL. Made a friend got hit on by all the male guards in the sim.
It was amusing because she was stressing she had a boyfriend and they kept on hitting on
her. Yup, hit on someone at the pool. That'll go over REAL well. >.>
-Became friends with that friend, and on her suggestion, went and registered at Douglas College. I'll be starting in January semester. Stage crafting seem like a fun major to look into.
-Tried calling a couple friends, with no success.T.T
-Fought a whole lot with my mom, but within reasons, and better understanding of myself.
-Registered for winter retreat.
-Drew 9 pages of roughs for a personal project.

Well, I should go to sleep, for I open tomorrow.
I look forward to orientation, later the day's evening!
Please forward my attention to your wishlists if you've got any.^^

Jobs
So I quit the Sushi place!
I will still be working there for awhile for the buffer time, but it sorta irks me a little knowing both the manager and the boss didn't show any hesitation in accepting my decision. XD
Well, I knew I wasn't their favorite nor the best waitress in whole wide world!

Gosh, This sounds may sad, but I'm SO excited about working at Subways on mornings,
for it would grant me free afternoons AND evenings. X3
With full dental and medical coverage too.<3

Yayy Freedom!

Top Ten Reasons for this SUPER QUICK Decision.
1. Incentive for me to get up earlier so that I would be able to attend morning services.(6am)
2. Promotes better life style.-I dislike sleeping in. It makes me feel like a bum.
3. More hours, Better pay, Insurances.
4. Better use of time.(If I stay home from 7-12ish, I usually eat and do nothing.)
5. No more mall crawling.-I'm an impulsive shopper. >.>
6. Gym/Library at walking distance from Subway
7. Bank in 5 min distance
8. Can easily attend afternoon/evening classes.
9. Have more time for friends.
10. No more work stress.

Thanks. :) Guys.
Thank you Mike, Sara, and Erin, for letting me watch Star Wars.
The first two movies were indeed good. I really wish I would've been able to see it when it was out, before special effects became all so common.
It would've been such a phenominal exprience. Like, you know, having a cookie for the very first time of your life, and you just can't get enough of it. :)
Whether I was there to exprience the shock the first hand back then or not, none-the-less, it was great.

Mike. I would like to apologize for not phoning earlier on the day.
I tried to make it up with pizza and all, but I do understand that my chatting in break and falling asleep must've been annoying.
Thank you for putting up with me on that, and I really appriciate your understanding.
You know I'd do the same too ne? ^_^
