Greetings and a happy new year [02 Jan 2007|01:51pm] haris_on_tour [ mood | creative ] I made some silly little Beatles dolls at elouai.com and thought I would share them.  They're not incredibly fabu or anything, but I had fun making them.  Also, I thought if I posted the dolls and the website, someone else might want to try their hand at creating Beatles dollies.   I hope it's okay that I post the pictures without using a cut. Looking for a website [05 Dec 2006|07:33pm] rockinlibrarian [ mood | curious ] [ music | "Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding," Elton John ] Fairly early in this community's history-- at least, I'm almost positive it's this community, because I remember the person posting about how the topic was definitely about Beatles MUSIC and not fangirlish squealing-- somebody posted a link to a website where a music professor had analyzed all the Beatles' songs... I tried going back in the archives to find it (just out of curiousity, because no I have no good REASON to be looking for it) but can't. Does anybody remember that website and what the url is? 2 ~ Can I have a little more?

[28 Oct 2006|03:08am] bungalo_bill so i was just listening to this the other day and it makes me laugh so much. has anyone else heard the full Let it Be conversations between paul, the director micheal lindsay-hogg and some other guy? you can hear snipets and edited parts of it all throughout Let It Be Naked Fly on the Wall disc. the part that i'm talking about specifically is where paul says, "ringo put his foot down, and he doesn't want to go abroad, so we don't go abroad. so maybe us and jimmy nichols will go abroad." maybe i'm just crazy. but it makes me laugh and smile so much. anyway. that's all. you can delelte this since i guess technically it's not music. but i'd suggest Ringo's Beacoups of Blues album. it's a very good listen. Can I have a little more?

Beatles LOVE opening night pics [03 Jul 2006|07:48pm] boristhespider Just a note to all of you Beatle fans. This may be old news to a lot of you, but just thought you'd all want to know that there are some terrific pictures from the premiere of the Beatles show in Vegas up on my Beatles blog.  If you haven't seen them, they are great photos.   It is so refreshing to see the entire Beatles extended family all together in one place (except for Sean).  I don't think that's ever happened before.  Anyhow, everyone looks awesome....especially Yoko (and her boobage) except for her crazy hat.
