I don't have ficcy, but I do have a question:
Does it say anywhere in the show that Jack is a millionaire? Because I've seen it mentioned in hundreds of fanfictions, but I don't know if it's an actual canon fact. I have no trouble believing that he is, given his seemingly endless resources...but does it actually state it in the show, or is it just assumed by everyone?

Its my first Chase Jack fic, please be gentle. Feedback would be appreciated.

Decided to experiment with coloring techniques and I attempted to use only the photoshop brush tool.

I think it's tame enough not to warrent a warning, but in case you're around someone who's offended by boys in handcuffs, there you go.

I've noticed a trend of sorts in Chack fanfics, mainly of a second love interest for Jack, Rai. Usually Rai comes off as the bad guy of the fic, often there solely as a gimmick to make Chase jealous so he'll re-state his claim on Jack and everyone will live happily ever after. I am not here to bash anyone or their style of writing but why Rai? Sure, he screwed up once but he redeemed himself and proven himself to be Xiaolin through and through. Maybe it's cosmetic and just a show of fangirl immaturity, kinda like bashing characters because they are ugly or one character is in a cannon relationship that goes against some 'shipper's OTP.


Another thing that gets me is what attraction is shown in the show between Jack and Rai. Of all the four monks, Rai is the one it seems to me Jack interacts the least with, in fact I'd dare say that Rai is the longest shot as far as the four chosen ones go for pairings with Jack.

Also, forgive me for rambling; I am trying to get some stray thoughts out of my head (and no, this isn't all that's keeping me up but focusing on something trivial like a tv show helps keep my mind out of an endless spiral of despair). Am I the only one who sees a potential interesting love triangle between Chase Jack and Omi? It just seems based on the show that Jack adores Chase, Chase and Omi have that weird almost love but definitely more than mutual respect thing going on and I swear there have been moments that have made me wonder if Omi is attracted to Jack.... yes, I know I am a weird one.

A Chack I've already posted on ff.net. Maybe somebody's read it before...I'm sorry it's so short.

I adore Chack and I was very happy when I found out this community was still up. I usually get my Chack fix from Silvarbelle but I got two fics on my mind that I read not to long ago that I cannot find. I've checked all my usually haunts so any help would be aprecaited.
1. This story was a lot like Silvarbelle's The Way It Should Have Been, expect Jack acturally did win the showdown. I can't remember if it was Chase/Jack.
2. Find it, Silvarbelle wrote the shark tale one. Thanks to madhatter and silvarbelle for answering so quickly! Anyone curious about the story, wait for Silvarbelle to repost and go read it, the story is great!

Yeah, if you guys don't mind me posting this sort of 'old'ad here. I don't know when the next application deadline is. Just that the character Chase Young was played in this RP community, a really interesting game at that. Just hoping that maybe someone might take it up as a little challenge or something since I found that he didn't really do a whole lot of action while being a patient at Landels >.< You can find all pasts posts of him in the tags at the main community.

Apparently you can have your character fight other characters as well (with certain rules), and it'd be kinda cool reading how Chase would fight those from other series. The last event of Chase was when he got devoured alive killed by Alucard. On August 27, 2007 (if you want to read what happened, it's in this thread: here. Apparently, the game is on the 30th Nighttime, so you might be able to start the actually playing on the 31th morning.

Long story short, I haven't seen every episode and can't get ahold of the episodes I lack ( damn you WB release season 2-3 on DVD! ) but I am kicking plot bunny around so I have to ask a few questions.

1) Ok, I know that the cats are humans transformed by magic into cats and can change at Chase's will once loyalty is sworn (or wagered in battle and the other looses), is it ever said what happens if they break that vow?

2) What would happen to them if Chase were to die, would they as well or would they either stuck as cats or simply return to the state before they became Chase's vassals?

Sorry if my questions are dumb but if you could help either with cannon help or speculation it'd help.

Once upon a time there was a girl, who decided to write a Christmas themed non-con chack fic.

Remember her? Well, in case you don't, that girl was me. And that girl's laziness ended up keeping her from getting past the PG-13 to something tastier.

I've got a while til' Christmas now, so maybe I won't feel quite as silly starting before and leading up to some form of a conclusion. Would you guys like that?

Hello, yes i need a beta for a chack fic i am writing.
now, mind you, the writing is going to be REALLY slow, if you can't stand that then don't volunteer, I'm telling you now. Also, this fic is a going to be long, or atleast it's supposed to be, so if you don't mind people taking a long time, know that the fic will take almost forever to post and therefore you can not leak anything about it unless i say so. Last, I had a beta, a friend of mine, I will be sending her the files first (even though we aren't very good beta's) so understand that you are a necessary second beta. Do not be offended, just know that what you will probably do most of the work even though i am giving the file to someone else. The problem is, even though we are friends, and we love reading eachother's stuff, we're not very faithful in reading the material and returning it asap. I need someone who will do that for me. When the fic is put together as a whole, I will need a THIRD beta to look over the work of the first two to ensure that the fic flows well. Ok? In effect, I'm asking for two beta's. Please Answer!
